Preposition of time

This is the type of preposition that is used to indicate the time of an occurrence. It is used to show when a particular event takes place.
Preposition of time can show the exact date the event happened, the day of the week or so he exact time it happened.
Prepositions of time are: In, At, On, before, After, behind, etc.

Example in sentence

This is the type of preposition that tells the place is position of something. It helps to identify the place or position where an event has taken place.
Prepositions of place include: inside, outside, behind, beside, above, over, on, etc.

Question 2

Search and explore how you can recognize a pronoun.with an example

How to recognise a preposition with an example

We know that a preposition shows the relationship between a noun and a pronoun and it must be followed by a verb or a pronoun.

Example

  • We closed in on the man

The above example contains a pronoun, We, and noun, the man, the preposition is used to show their relationships so in the sentence we see that On indicated the positions of both the pronoun and the noun. So in the sentence, On is the preposition.
