SHOW YOUR POETRY : CONTEST.

Intuition, the sixth sense,
You meet someone and,
You feel something is off,
You plan on going to a place,
But you are just having a feeling of dread,
You cancel and later,
Hear there was an accident,
On the route you were to use.

You stand next to a tree,
Your heart tells you to stand elsewhere,
You do so and a few moments later,
A branch falls at the same exact spot,
Where you were standing.
Sometimes we listen and other times we don’t
Intuition can be a wise guide,
Some people say that it is,
Your conscience speaking.

Others say it is the voice of God,
But whatever it is we can all,
Agree intuition has told us things,
Sometimes we feel good about things,
And proceed with them and they absolutely,
Work out yet other times,
We get a bad feeling about either people,
A place or even activities and when we avoid them,
We are the reason later on why,
Our intuition was driving us away.

Other times we do not listen and,
We face the consequences,
When things do not turn out right,
And we remember the warning signs.
Intuition is your guide so use it well.
