Good afternoon friends in the steem skillshare community. Hope everyone is always in good health. this is my graphic design assignment post. According to the assignment guide announcement made by mr. @atim1234. I hope I get good grades in class.

What is visual communication design?

Visual Communication Design is a branch of design that studies the concept of communication. This means creative expression, technique of using media with visual or visual elements to supply a message. Its main purpose for information or persuasion is to influence the behavior of the audience.

Many basic things are learned in visual communication design. .we can develop visual language forms (play pictures), process messages (play words) for both social and commercial purposes. from individuals or groups addressed to other groups. .This visual is creative and innovative, while the core message must be communicative, efficient and effective. All of them support each other so that the message is conveyed well to the target.

The scope of this visual communication design is very broad, including: starting from product / food labels, logo designs that represent an institution / company (branding), promotional packages and campaigns for a program, to making advertisements in the mass media. This depends on the needs and the market.

The difference between visual communication design and graphic design.

Graphic design is within the scope of Visual Communication Design but in a narrower scope. Graphic design is how we manage and design a graphic element that utilizes design principles to produce good work. .graphic design teaches design so that the design work that we have looks neat and effective.

What needs to be understood is that Visual Communication Design is not only Graphic Design, but Graphic Design is definitely included in Visual Communication Design. .Visual Communication design teaches more about the concept of how to convey messages visually, while Graphic Design teaches more about techniques on how to organize a design element.

graphic design falls within the scope of Visual Communication Design but in a smaller scope. Graphic design explains how we manage and design a graphic element that contains design principles so as to produce good work. graphic design teaches design rules so that the design work that we have looks neat, effective, and efficient.

Visual communication scope

Now, this Visual Communication Design is divided into 3 parts, namely Graphic Communication, Advertising Visual Communication, and Multimedia Communication

Basically Graphic Communication and Visual Communication Advertising is processing visual language on static media. communication skills, typography, illustration, photography are points that must be mastered. Graphic Designer is able to create logos, magazine/newspaper designs, sign systems, packaging designs, product promotion packages and others with his expertise.

Advertising designers are able to play visually appealing and efficient for persuasion purposes. Packaging the image of a product / program / campaign with a good visual language, which leads to a change in the behavior of its target.

while Multimedia Communication is intended for dynamic media based on time and sound (audio). Animation, web design, interactive media to film directing are examples of multimedia designer work. The basics of visual communication are applied dynamically in the multimedia work..
