THE ADVENT OF CORONA VIRUS (Covid-nineteen).

Preamble:
An overbearing waves of terror besieged and invaded various homes, institutions, and establishments, as the venomous claws of the novel Corona virus, also known as Covid nineteen (Covid-19), multiplied and dominated in the year, 2020. Its effects resonated and reverberated to every part of the world, and brought all activities to a total standstill, even the very foundation of the earth was shaken, and its inhabitants, bowed in awe, as Covid-nineteen paraded in a triumphant procession.

There were speculations, opinions, and diverse school of thoughts, as scholars, scientists, and religious gladiators, attempt to give explanations with respect to its (Covid-nineteen) cause, cure, and the alleged conspiracy theory behind it.
Suffice to say that, some religious clerics labeled it the fulfillment of the end time prophecy, for the manifestation of the Antichrist, however, they stressed that the powers behind the alleged conspiracy theory, should not circumvent the stages, and chronical processes, to fast track the foretold era, by employing some forms of calculated tricks and subtle schemes with Corona virus as the alibi, by imposing mandatory vaccination of the proposed vaccines for Corona virus, which they (religious clerics) feared that it has a digital microchips, imbedded with the capacity to mutate a person’s gene and DNA, that will transform him or her to a subservient robot, whose actions and thoughts will be determined by the encoded programs of the embedded microchips.

Other school of thought opined that, it was an attempt to depopulate the world, by eliminating one hundred and million persons (150M), with Africans as the specimen for such experiment.

Origin and Historical Background.
The origin of the novel Covid nineteen, could be traced to the nocturnal birds, known as bats, and its spread was as a result of contaminated meats, sold in China’s meat market.

Its emergence became astronomical on 31st December 2019 { this was how the name Covid nineteen came about}, as clusters of a peculiar pneumonia cases of unidentified etiology, was later reported in Wuhan China, on the 9th of January, 2020. The associated symptoms includes: severe fever, dry coughs, migraine headache, sore throat, chills, fatigue, great loss of appetite, taste and smell.

Effects of Covid-nineteen.
So many sicknesses and deaths were recorded, as a result of the Corona virus pandemic. There were also total global lockdown of schools, markets, sports stadia, banks, religious worship centers, and airports, which caused grievous hardship, famines, economic recessions, financial loss and stagnation of businesses and travels.

Virtually every activity, was brought to an absolute halt.
Families stayed indoors at home, to avoid further spread of the deadly Corona virus. The government imposed social distance laws and mandated the use of face and nose masks, hand sanitizers for all, especially those on special duties, and the health workers.

Prescription and solution.
Scientists in the medical research fields, discovered some vaccines and drugs, which are yet to be endorsed and accepted world wide, they includes drugs, such as: Dexamethasone, prednisone, and methylprednisolone, which they recommended because of their potent anti-inflammatory properties.

Dr. Stella Immanuel, a Nigerian medical doctor, who works and resides in the United States of America, also claimed that an antimalarial drug known as hydroxychloroquine, is potent enough to cure Covid-nineteen.
She further stated that she had treated three hundred and fifty (350) patients with the hydroxychloroquine, without a record of any death.

In Africa, those in the alternative herbal medicine and therapy, were not left out, as they also came up with researches, that birthed the production of some proposed medicinal herbal cure, and therapy for Corona virus.

The president of Madagascar, His Excellency Andry Rajoelina, was the first to launch a herbal medicine known as Covid- organic, which he claimed, contains Artemisia, a plant that fights malaria. He made a bold statement in a national broadcast, that his country Madagascar, has the permanent cure for Covid-nineteen, and he solicited for support, and endorsement by the World Health Organization (WHO), his proposal was declined, which resulted to the withdrawal of Madagascar from the World Health Organization. There were demands and supplies of the Covid-organic by some African countries such as Nigeria, south Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe.

In Nigeria, the rural dwellers, prevented and combated Corona virus, with mixtures of some cloves of garlic, ginger, neem leaves and lime juice. And they testified to the potency of such concoctions as a cure for Covid-nineteen, though majority of them took it as a preventive therapy.

Corona virus and its relation to our attitude towards Agricultural lands.
It’s an indisputable and undeniable fact, that our collective attitudes, toward agricultural lands , will grossly affect the ease and possibility, of the discovery, and availability of its (Corona virus) cure, because, the raw materials for both synthetic Orthodox medicine and the alternative herbal therapy, are obtained and sourced from plants, roots, vegetables and fruits.

This implies that if our human activities such as industrial pollution of farms and rivers, and uncontrolled crude oil spillage, are not curtailed and eventually put to a stop, there will be no raw materials, to carry out researches, and also to produce drugs, vaccines and herbal medicine for the cure of Corona virus, and we will be so bankrupt, and be left with nothing, as a cure at all. And what a catastrophic disaster it will be, if the needful and remedy is not done.

Conclusion.
The government, institutions, cooperative societies, and the private sectors, should invest more in agricultural research projects, to encourage farming activities, with the aim of boosting the production of highly improved crops, plants, roots, vegetables, and fruits, so that there will be ample availability of raw materials for both synthetic medicine and herbal medicine.

Moreover, the governing authorities should sanction industries that violated the land use acts, with respect to pollution control and preservation of our farm lands, with exorbitant fines and penalties, to discourage the pollution of farms and rivers with industrial waste, and crude oil spillage.
