Good day friends! My fellow contestants and my people in steem skillshare community, I greet you all. I am happy to take part in this contest organized by @alena-vladi.

I have always wanted to be a good public speaker but I don't have that talent.

Tell us the professional skill you don't have but you will really like to have.

Public Speaking Skill

First of all what is public speaking?

Public speaking can be defined as the ability to speak clearly,convincingly and persuasively before an audience be large or small audience.

Public speaking is one of the most important skills anyone can develop.
People who are eloquent speakers are more comfortable with themselves and more confident and are attractive to be around.

Explain why you need this skill

I need public speaking skill because it can help me stand out at my work. I need this skill so as to be able to promote my ideas and present myself as a professional. Public speaking skill will help me speak convincingly and have more customers. If I am able to speak convincingly to people they will remember me and see me as an authoritative figure in my area of expertise.
I will be having new clients from people who watch me speaks.

How you could use it in your professional spheres.

If I am good at talking to large crowd or group of people successfully, I will also go to events and promote my business. I will make video of my sewing business online for more people to get to know me. I will have a YouTube and dtube channel where people will also go online and learn from it. And if I have more subscribers or viewers, I believe I will make more money from it.

What prevents you from getting this skill?

Right from childhood, I read and write more often than talking. I think that is one of the things that prevent me from being a good public speaker. Sometimes I used to say something else other than saying what I have written down to speak to my audience. When I watch good and talented public speakers speaking, I used to feel intimidated and inferior compared to them and thinking if I would ever talk like them. But I believe with constant training I will become a good public speaker. All I need now is finances for training so as to help me achieve my goal.

How would your life change with this skill?

If I am a good public speaker, that is being able to speak effectively, I will sell anything I want to sell. like products, ideas, ideologies and even be able to advertise my sewing business by making videos, post it on YouTube and dtube, have as many people as possible to subscribe to my channel. This will change my life because I will be able to make more money and live a better life.

Conclusion

Public speaking skill can help me meet my goal. There is no profession that does not need public speaking skill. We all need it to advertise our business, convince people, show them we are experts in our field. I really need this skill and I wish I will have it one day.
