Introduction


We require food for energy, sustainability and for good health. Eating of food provides the body with essential nutrients that will helps us to grow. So participating in this contest gives me delight to share my best meals have eaten for the week, and I thank the organisers for their creativity, time and effort they have put to run on the niche. Let begin

  • Fish soup with swallow (garri)
    Fish soup is very rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins etc because fish alone is used in preparing the food. This can be taken as lunch or dinner. Guess what, few ingredients is needed. A plate of this cost about 800 naira in Nigerian currency but 4.7 steem.

Ingredients

  1. Fish (of any type)
  2. onion
  3. pepper
  4. palm oil
  5. salt and seasoning cubes
  6. Okro (optional)
  7. Melon (optional)
  8. Vegetables (optional)
  9. Crayfish
  • Otòmboro
    This meal is my favourite, it so delicious and palatable and come with alot of childhood memories. Otò can be prepared with unripe banana like the one on the picture or with wateryam or even with unripe plantain, but with unripe banana is my favourite, it's so nutritious and its good with diabetic patients. It can be eaten for Breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's 500 naira a plate in Nigerian currency but 3 steem

Ingredients

  1. unripe banana
  2. salt and seasoning cubes
  3. Periwinkle (very important)
  4. pepper
  5. scent leaves or fliuted pumpkin leaves
  6. bonga fish (important)
  7. Crayfish (important) and
  8. palm oil
    One can use any protein he/she desires but its optional.
  • Groundnut oil rice with yogurt
    This groundnut oil rice was so amazing, it had a little taste of coconut rice and groundnuts oil combined together. Its can be eaten as Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. 300 naira for one plate but 1.77 in steem.

  4. Crayfish
  5. Protein of your choices
  • Palm oil Rice (concoction rice)
    The taste of this rice, cooked with bonga fish (Ethmalosa) is so amazing. It can also be eaten as Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. 300 naira for a plate and 1.77 in steem.

  3. Bonga fish (Ethmalosa)
  4. Pepper, salt, seasoning cubes and onion
  5. Crayfish
  6. Protein of your choices
  • Rice and stew
    When I was a child, I could remember that anytime I perceive the aroma of this meal, I will long to have it and the taste was so good. But it happened that it's one of the best meal I ate. It could be eaten as Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. 400 naira 2.35 in steem and this is a plate.

  3. Pepper, salt, seasoning cubes and onion
  4. Curry, thyme, garlic, ginger, stew spice
  5. Tomatoes, red bell pepper and scotch burnet pepper.
  6. Protein of your choices

Summary


It was so wonderful eating these delicious meals this week and am glad to tell my fellow steemians about this amazing delicacies and that anybody who cares to try them should especially the "Otòmboro".
