Friday
Name: White Soup with Pounded Yam
Ingredients tuber of yam, seasoning cubes, meat(goat meat preferably, stockfish, achi(optional), salt, dey fish, Oza leaf.
Meal Type: Lunch/Dinner
Plate Cost: a plate of this cost depending on where you get it, but where I got mine, I bought it #1000 Nigerian Naira which is equivalent to 7 STEEM.
Mode Of Preparation: boil your yam, when it is soft enough, remove it and pound it in the mortar untill it's soft and edible to eat.
Wash your protein sources (fish, goat meat, stockfish and anyother protein source). Put them and steam them for like 3 minutes, add water and close it back, allow it to steam for 3 more minutes so that by this time, the meat is about 80% done.
Go in with all your seasonings, add salt and possibly a little more water if the initial water wasn't enough and make sure you steam it back, after allowing it to seamer for some minutes, you can decide to use achi or a little portion of the pounded yam so the soup will be thick, use a spatula, turn it till you have a good soup texture.
After that, allow it seamer for 5 more minutes, then your white soup is ready, serve it with your pounded yam, your lunch and dinner is ready.
Saturday
