Dear Italian language lovers

Today we are talking about the noun. The reason, why I'm writing in English, is that the post is aimed at everyone.

The noun is the variable part of speech that serves to indicate people, animals and things that exist or that we can imagine and think.

Linguistically, a noun is a member of a large, open part of speech whose members can occur as the main word in the subject of a clause, the object of a verb, or the object of a preposition. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noun.

Of course, we will come to back to this grammar structure and talk about the different types of nouns. For now, I want to keep it simple and I would like you to take part in the discussion.
