I could read the text, but my German isn't good enough to reply in it (native dutch) so I'll ask in English: I have one question about this process: The finished ring: is it hollow in the inside (as in is it like a "tube" or is it a "solid block"? which would mean that parts of the coin are on the inside and invisible?

A hole is punched in the centre of the coin and then the inner part is slowly moved outwards to form a ring. It is a normal ring afterwards.
