Michael (Commander Burnham) has flown through the artificial wormhole in her time-suit, emerged some 9,300+ years in the future.

But while emerging from the wormhole she collides with a ship and makes a crash landing on a planet with life forms.

She later meets "Book", the owner of the ship she collided with and soon finds out that he's a galactic thief/smuggler.

Star Trek Discovery Season 3 is a must-see for all Star Trek fans - old, new and of any Star Trek "flavor".

The tech, action and characters are well worth the watch.

I especially like the new character of "Book"; mainly because he is much more than a common thief...

Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.

In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.

He lives on an island paradise with his girlfriend, teenage daughter and two dogs.
