This week we talk about beets and how we use them in our home.

The beet is a vegetable that in my opinion is the sweetest, in fact from this food they take sugar. It is very nutritious, prevents and controls some diseases because of its high vitamin content.

¿What do I do with beets?

For some time I have been suffering from the so-called menopause calories because my development was at a very early age, calories that have not been pleasant at all; but thanks to beets I have been able to control them considerably.

For this I have taken the beet juice with lemon, this can be consumed at any time but in my case it is recommended that it be fasting; That is when the body remains without consuming food or drinks for a sufficient period so that it can better assimilate the nutrients contained in beets and can take effect during the day.

Here I explain how to prepare the juice, in a very simple and practical way:

Wash the beet very well and cut into very small squares, it is not necessary to remove the peel; We do the same procedure with the lemon. Take the lemon to the blender with ½ glass of water and liquefy for a few seconds since if we liquefy it a lot it will be bitter and we do not want that, then we strain it and keep it apart, then we proceed to liquefy our beet for approximately 1 minute , we also strain it and combine these 2 smoothies to obtain a delicious and nutritious lemon beet juice.

If you want to put sugar, it is everyone's taste. I do not place it because it seems so good.

I am currently not taking the juice because I have had to lower the consumption of foods that contain sugars a bit since I have a tendency to suffer from diabetes, so I consume this juice for a month and stop taking it for 15 days and I stay.
