The Power of HOA's and a letter for homeowners. Should you Beware before you give or sign your Consent away? Real life experiences!

Emily J Archer-Spellman It's too bad there isn't a Neighborhood gathering to get people together for actual issues and how to address them over just throwing more money at a situation.
Remember how they used to do barn raisings where many would come together?

The problem with the HOA's and rules is there isn't a solution for many situations just like this one here.
I believe they were hoping the property management company would assist in giving discounts, BUT that comes at a far heftier price that many in the neighborhood would struggle to afford, then they would be left with Still trying to pay someone to do chores they receive postcards on.
That is where there is a literal disconnect with people and remembering People should come Before regulations!
When there is a will, there's a way if people themselves and not some governing agency come together.

Also the property management company will enforce MORE of the rules and will fine with fees that can stack up on already tapped out people and this is how homes end up in foreclosure according to many stories out there.
There was an attorney speaking on this not long ago.
It does seem the way forward is for more people to pull together to find solutions rather than add more governing agents.

Once that company gets their foot in the door it's Quite tricky as is evidenced here, they don't just make their money from the flat rate,
but those fines stacking up from what they have power to do as it's backed by rules in a covenant [very much like congress and the federal gov, where they can wield their power from a legal docu and even More attorneys to back it up as they are a Billion dollar company]
and This is what is so dangerous to homeowners.

The following covers exactly what you are speaking about Emily on taking advantage of people in the most vulnerable situations.

I get that our board says they don't wish for it to happen, but bottom line is there is evidence it is already happening and this Property Management Company has already been known to fine people astronomically from stacked up postcards and even foreclose on homes.

This is a Real Eye Opener for people not aware of not only the power, but what past governing agencies have done to homeowners.
Not meant to send fear, but rather more of a Buyer Beware
and all who can please be at tonight's meeting if at all possible!

There should be an amendment that states only 10% of the neighborhood can be rentals or investment companies are able to continue attaining properties which they control as for as pricing.

YIKES! The comments in the vid are interesting as always!
