Do you have guilt when it comes to switching hobbies often? I find myself switching from hobby to hobby quite frequently, sometimes I will research a hobby and get board of it or guilt myself out of it before even buying the basic equipment. Listening to a podcast the other day and the guest stated, “If you are an interesting person. Your interests are going to be interesting.” This resonates with me. When I think about how I have not mastered the last hobby and I am looking into the next, I feel guilty. So now I am giving myself permission to switch up my priorities. If you want to switch hobbies and let the old one from last month collect dust in the garage, do it! If you haven’t maximized that activity it’s OK. I don’t need to attain mastery of the hobby, I want to gain knowledge and move on to the next thing. My thing is to try lots of things. So be OK with priority's shifting. I will be back to that last hobby and I know it might just help the last hobby out.
