In TRUTH, God and Jesus Christ calls us to BE HOLY and RIGHTEOUS, JUST LIKE CHRIST, many times in the Bible. We are NOT to be "comfortable" in our sin!!! We are commanded to allow the Holy Spirit to RID us entirely of ALL SIN.
Since we cannot do this of our selves, in the flesh, our carnal nature, then we MUST allow the Holy Spirit to work within us to RID US OF ALL SIN and UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. If we do NOT allow the Holy Spirit to work, we will remain in the flesh and CANNOT PLEASE GOD. God Calls us to WALK IN and AFTER THE SPIRIT.
Brothers and Sisters, WE ARE CALLED TO BE HOLY!!
WE ARE COMMANDED TO BE BLAMELESS, SPOTLESS BEFORE CHRIST.
JESUS TELLS US TO "GO... AND SIN NO MORE."
New Testament:
John 5:14
Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
John 8:11
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
