Trellising Tomatoes Out In The Yard and Building A Pepper Bed - June 1st 2018

Every day is a work day. Had to drop these peppers plants into the dirt, or the would not have fared well for much longer, as they had become root bound into their tiny cells. But now that they are in freshly tilled and fertilized soil, they may perhaps prosper.. but I fear it may be too late.. maybe we will see some mini peppers.

They were acquired by Susan for free at the greenhouse so why not I guess. Tomatillo and scorpion peppers. Hmm..

I also popped some younger, non root bound pepper plants in the dirt I freshly dug up. And used some concrete reinforcement bars for trellising of the tomatoes and peppers. I will use window cross frames to support the tomatoes as they form! I have it in my head now..

The usual composted manure, peat moss and perlite mixed well with filtered clay soil. Makes for a well draining soil. Just have to keep up with the weeds. As time progresses I will solve that issue too.

Hoping these pepper plants take hold and start growing!
