Okay, I'm stumped. I have Googled this thing up and down, to no avail. I don't know what it is, when it was made, or by whom. I have few clues to go on. Here they are:
- The handles on the doors are either Radcliffe Knobs or McCobb Style knobs.
- The piece in some ways resembles McCobb furniture, but is not as sleek and modern
- The search term: Wire Mesh seems to find similar door treatments
- It is mostly solid wood, and seems to be mahogany
- There are somewhat modern embellishments, such as some of the construction methods and the plastic magnet holding the doors closed. I should have photographed that too. It's basically one of these: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Richelieu-Hardware-Magnetic-Brown-Catch-BP52060/205417387?MERCH=REC
The only other clue is what is printed on the back:
Anyone think they can solve this mystery?
