Over the years, I think we have raised two hogs, but probably never will again. Now don't get me wrong - I really like to eat a pig. For us, it's neither a religious nor health issue. We're just set up better for smaller animals like chickens, turkeys, and rabbits. The raising and butchering of a hog is just more of a hassle than we want to deal with for our two-member household.
