A catch-up post here. Last Wednesday my intern and I got all the pieces, we hoped, upstairs into the unused bedroom. The plan was to set it up with my helper friend on Thursday for seed starting with my intern on March 1, Sunday.

My husband had cut the big piece of plywood needed for under the new heat mats.

Thursday morning my helper friend and I started setting up when I remembered we had to make a lasagna first. Just about that time, as I was sitting on the floor putting a screw into the frame, my back started to bother me.

After a short while it became obvious I wasn’t doing more lights, so they then went up and set up the lights.

I ended up in hospital, so they never got finished. The big frame needs more support under the plywood, perhaps with the long metal shelving. The light level needs adjusting to trays with covers.

The small frame needs milk crates to hold the trays and boards leveled across the crates. I will borrow my helper friend’s heat mats for this one. The light also needs adjusted to tray level.

I am hoping to do the seed starting with my intern on Wednesday. Better late than never….
