Usually we see the first snowdrop in the South garden under the roundtop window in January. But those were all moved for construction.
My husband found this one in the 1st Fence garden last Thursday, the garden that got dug up by the construction guys. Nothing had been moved from it because I didn’t know they were going to dig there.
But the sturdy survivors have continued to surprise me since it happened. The wonders of nature…
On Tuesday my helper friend is here and the forecast is for near 60F, so I plan to set him to work in the Big garden. I was told yesterday it would be a month before I can do that sort of work, if then. But I can supervise my intern with seed starting, so that will be tomorrow.
Tuesday my job will be working on the estimating, as my back allows.
What’s snowdrop for you? Never heard the term.

No, no surgery, just really severe pain they had a hard time controlling. Much better today....
