Scrap Garden Update - Giving up on Gardening

in homesteading •  7 years ago

…temporarily!

Things are changing. My goals are being redefined, my living situation is fluctuating, and my time is being redirected elsewhere. So with the failure of my seeds last time comes the end of my scrap garden until I am in a better position to start a new one.

My two avocado plants are still in the picture of course! The one with wilted leaves continues to cling to life by a thread while the new sprout is stretching itself towards the sunshine (slowly but surely)!

Most of my time now is going to be spent on personal development. I believe the rest will follow in due time. For now, I'm going to get outside and enjoy Mother Nature's garden.

Gertrude Jekyll Said, “A garden is a grand teacher. It teaches patience and careful watchfulness; it teaches industry and thrift; above all it teaches entire trust.”

Hope you are able to get your hands back in the soil soon.

Thankful it is only temporary.
Some times we have to take a step back, get some aspects of life in order and see a whole new fresh start.

We'll be here when you come back.

I'll still be on Steemit, now more so than ever, I just won't be gardening! But thank you! I can't wait until I get my own chunk of land and can work on it every day :)

Oh okay... I misunderstood.. WELCOME back!!! lol

Me too... we have 1/4 acre so being creative with gardening and space allotment is key

Getting out in nature is sometimes all we ever need
