It has been a week for the books here in the coop. But the story ends well, all the little quail are happy and cozy in the rain. Tucked away and safe. ❤

I love your quail. I have some Coturnix which I just moved out into their new permanent outdoor home (still a heat lamp though, just for our chilly nights) and I have another batch in the brooder who will join them in a week. How long have you been keeping quail? Are these button or Coturnix or another type?

The are Coturnix I collected every color variety I could find. They are such cool birds to look after. I am hoping to hatch a batch of them next year. Do you have the jumbo browns?
