Water Pump Engine Update! IT RUNS...BUT LEAKS!

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Two is one and one is none. That is how the saying goes. For things that are really really important, its good to have a backup in case something break. And IT WILL BREAK. So planning ahead, you get two.

We have been using our rain catchment water for so long that when we needed our pump again, we had to clean it up and drain the fuel lines. I got both up and running but one is leaking fuel and I'll have to find someone who knows more about small engines to help. I'm all about fixing things on my own but like Clint said, "A Man's Got To Know His Limitations".

ENJOY THE VIDEO!

There is always something to fix or repair on the homestead. We try to keep everything maintained but sometimes things fall through the cracks. At times, I feel I am the captain of Noah's Ark. We have at least two of everything from equipment to livestock (breeding pairs). Glad to hear you have one pump in working order. Water is paramount...

Having a back for when something fails is an excellent idea, as well as a plan for when your back up fails.

Sharing to show it can happen to us all!

small engines are always aggravating !
