These also cleanse the human body and pets from some parasites such as tapeworms. I used them for my dog after she ingested a flea and they really do work to remove tapeworms from pets.

I use pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds for worms. I grind them into powder and add to the dog and cat food. I think its working. They seem healthy and worm free. Normal worm medication made my dog really sick.

we call those butternut squash

@pakiis These looks yummy. Honeynut is the most flavorful squash in my opinion.

Great post ....
I am also a lover of butternut squash, but only have a narrow yard to cultivate it, I once tried to plant it from the seeds I took in the fruit of honey pumpkin that I bought in the super market, at the beginning of its growth (vegetative phase) he can flourish, but when started entering the generative phase of its growth began to look sluggish, when the flower begins to appear, the leaves of the legs begin to turn yellow and wilt, then increasing up to the top of the leaves and eventually die.
What is wrong in this case, is it possible because the seeds are not from the producers of superior seeds because the soil conditions are actually very fertile.
Thanks....

¨ Good for the Eyes¨ - the same thing thought my parents when arriving to my grandma saw her without glasses. She had pumpking on her table and said tt she had been eating it for a couple of month.
I was a child with bad eyesight that time.
So my parents bought a box with pumpking and started to bake it or squeeze fresh juice for me. I needed to eat or drink it every day...without sugar or some other sweet ingredients.
So I stopped like pumpking for a long time)))

Don’t forget to make good use of the seeds, since they are filled with phosphorus and potassium.

@pakiis So much information thanks for sharing.

I like this post,,

Great post...

Upvoted and RESTEEMED!

Loved the article, had no idea of the many benefits of pumpkin.

A lot of good info here. Great job! Because of my focus on a whole-food plant-based diet I appreciate the nutritional facts combined with planting techniques. I am so bad at growing things.

It looks like a papaya! I've never seen a pumpkin that looks like that. Amazing!

Ooh I love to roast them. I chop them into small squares after peeling. Then I roast them in butter and herbs like rosemary or oregano and a little salt and pepper.

I do love eating and growing pumpkins.
