RIP Broadbeans & Peppers - The Container Veggie Patch With Pumpkins and Cats

Well the Beast from the East, came in and snowed all over my Broadbeans = (

I could not be more annoyed. Yes I knew the snow was arriving and probably should have covered them sooner, but we expected a sprinkling on Monday and down came inches of the white stuff.

I should have protected them Sunday and they may have stood a change. My eager earliness has failed to pay off. As the week progressed more snow came and they are currently covered in around 3 inchs of snow.

Not to worry though, i shall start again when the snow finally thaws.
