My Home Cooking - A Glimpse in our Kitchen!!

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Hi there fellow steemians,
It’s been many days not posting any blog. Most of my previous posts were about our day trips and dining out. Today I decided to share with you guys what we are doing in our kitchen when we will not eat out. Most of the time I cook vegetables at home, it’s my partner most favorite dish. But tonight, We also prepared grilled snapper fish and it came out really good. Fish is rich in protein and healthy too.

I seasoned it with Goya all purpose seasoning and black pepper seeds. I want the strong smell of black pepper and little spicy taste. My partner @ivantorres grilled it on our barbecue with charcoal.

Here’s how to cook:

1.In your medium pot, boil 4 cups of water( it depends on the amount of chopped vegetables).

  1. Add lemon grass and ginger until it boils.
  2. Add taro after it boils, after 2 minutes follow with the squash and when the squash is a little bit soft add the okra, onion, tomato and salt to taste once its cooked pour the coconut milk followed by the alugbati(Malabar spinach) and malunggay(moringa).
