This is the worst year we've had yet with our melons crossing. Here are some of the weirdest ones.
A banana melon is a yellow melon that tastes kind of like a cantaloupe. Here are some of our banana melons we've gotten this year:
The inside is supposed to look like this:
However, this year many of our banana melons ended up green. They had crossed with the honeydews:
Finally we found an orange one. These melons in the bowl are the same kind of melon, one is crossed, the other isn't:
We also grew lemon squash this year. Lemon squash taste kind of like a zucchini:
Sometimes, we've been finding some that look like this:
They had crossed with the watermelons!
Maybe we should have spread them further apart? We don't usually have this problem. Has anyone else been having this problem?
