Prepping for winter

We cut and split firewood also. Down here in the Florida Panhandle, our temps can dip down in the teens several times each winter. We also wrap all our exposed pipes and use a light to keep our pump warm.

We get just slightly colder up here, this year only -25°f but last year hit -37°f. We heat with only wood. Electric heater in the well house to keep from freezing.

We went to Wyoming in December to try to fill a cow elk tag and saw some temps down around -12°. I sure wasn't prepared for that combined with 60 mph winds.

We don’t have the wind thankfully.
