Moringa Trees Coming Back to Life After Hurricane Irma

in homesteading •  7 years ago  (edited)

Good morning, Steemians!

Hurricane Irma toppled one of my Moringa trees, and I had to cut the branches off the other two that we have.

However, the Indian variety of Moringa is famous for being able to come back if you cut its trunk, so I put it to the test.

As you can see, the "miracle tree" is very resilient - it's will to live is very strong!

Oh, so magnificent, how beautiful the fresh bark on those new competitive little drivers. Thank you.

I hear good things about moringa. Need to look into growing it here in Panama!

I'm sure they would grow fine there!

They can take lots of abuse and look all the better for it! I love my moringa :)

The Moringa tree has many benefits is known for its medicinal properties and the wide variety of therapeutic and nutritional uses ... here in Venezuela has little time to cultivate and now I find that you can use their leaves, fruits, seeds and even the roots

Yep!

When I was in India I ate it, at that moment I did not know what it was ......
