People are asked, where they're from or where they would like to live, if they could. What about, where do you wish you were from? That was a question I saw the other day. A new one to me. Though there are many places I hope to visit someday with my husband, I'm very happy to live where we do now. It's a beautiful area & lovely community. We feel like it's home. I'm also glad to be from where I grew up. Sebastopol, CA. Smaller town (8000 people) & more rural area. Northwest of San Francisco. There are other things I wish had been different about my childhood (a non abusive mother, a religious upbringing that was less strict. The town I'm from isn't one of them.
