Yesterday we ran out of water here. I realised that, since we live in our new place I didn't organise any water supply.

In one of his most recent posts, he reflects on how much we as people truly take for granted, everyday things that we expect to always be there. We tend to struggle when these things are no longer present and most times we are fortunate enough that things will be back to normal soon.

Our normal states being that of people may be using too much of any resource in our live's, from basic necessities to luxuries we have grown accustomed to.

@Whack.Science

Our very creative and musically talented buddy @whack.science took a five-day vacation to enjoy what's left of summer. We have missed him and we are happy to see him again. Let's see how his vacation went... shall we?

One Peninsula, Two Islands and picking up some friends along the way is how @whack.science spent his five-day vacation. Since this was his one and only vacation, of course, he had to make sure to get as much in as possible.

The plan was crazy! My friend, his lady, my lady and I started our journey from Split to peninsula Pelješac.

He shares with us some beautiful pictures of the islands Korčula and Lastovo and the gorgeous Pelješac peninsula. Good friends, family and beautiful scenery helped @whack.science to relax and replenish his mind and body.

He also offers us a special look at the stars from the island of Lastovo which he says is the best place to go star watching.

I know they got public lights designed not to do that much light pollution and the island is not that much populated so I had great night sky covered with gazillions of stars!

Head over to his post and give @whack.science a warm welcome home - 5 days - 1 peninsula - 2 islands! Summer camping in Croatia! Maybe we can convince him to pack us all in his suitcase the next time he goes on vacation to such a lovely place.

@Bafi

Returning from a recent London trip as he shares in his post here @Bafi is also fortunate enough to hit a big milestone on Steem.

Congratulations to him I am sure from everyone that already follows him and the @BuddyUp community we are very happy to see such a great creator stick around to hit these kinds of milestones.

In his milestone post however although it is happy and filled with pride for this achievement, @Bafi does reflect on the tough road ahead to grow further and how difficult it can be for even the best creators to grow to what Steem considers a Dolphin status.

Sharing a few numbers that many will consider daunting it does enforce the fact that Steem still has a long road to go, but as @Bafi himself says:

I truly believe in this platform and with the implementation and further adoption of SMT I firmly think that Steem as a crypto will gain back is strength. At the same time, the route to grow is extremely hard.
