The Horimiya series has become my favorite among the many romance anime I have seen in the last few days. The excellent animation of the series,
the amazingly beautiful story and the music have made the series unique and easily enjoyable. I didn't feel bored once from the beginning to the end and I liked it so much that I watched the series twice in one sitting.
Horimiya's story is about the love of Kyoko Hori, the first girl in the class and the most popular girl in the school, and Izumi Miyamura, the quiet and lonely boy in the class.
At first glance it may seem that the two of them liked each other. But the story is so wonderful that the friendship between them first and the love later that you will be forced to believe that they were made for each other by the end of the series.
The series not only tells their love story but also the story of their other friends in a very nice way. Each character is given equal importance so that you can easily blend in with the attitude and personality of all the characters.
The pacing of the story is very beautiful so it never seems that the story is being drawn for no reason. I have seen in many romantic animations that the main characters come to the last episode to tell about love.
But Horimiya likes it so much that when it needs to happen and the story is not limited to just telling love, then what happens, even the details of how to build a beautiful relationship with Miyamura's Hori family are shown. .
When it comes to the characters, Izumi Miyamura comes first, from whose perspective the whole series is shown. I think Izumi Miyamura is one of the best romantic anime protagonists. The more he was shown, the more I fell in love with him.
A very understanding character and it is great to see how he goes from being completely alone to being such a lively character. It fills my mind to see the way Hori takes care of everything. Seeing Miyamura's back story also aroused sympathy for her.
Kyoko Hori, on the other hand, is a character who easily befriends everyone. This class topper girl always goes ahead to help everyone. Many people want to make love for the soft and polite use of this very dear girl, but Hori disappoints everyone and returns her.
One might not even realize at school that Hori is actually a homely girl. Since both parents are employees, he does all the listening and watching of his younger brother.
He spends most of his time doing everything from cleaning the house to cooking and studying at the same time.
I liked Hori very much and she adapted to Miyamura. Seeing the chemistry of the two of them, the mind will want to fall in love again and again. Apart from them, none of the other characters are annoying.
Everyone's story is quite interesting. The beginning of the series is as beautiful as the end, but after the end, there is a desire to see their future.
The last episode of the series didn't seem to be complete so I read the rest of their story from the manga. Of particular note is that the opening song of this series is deadly beautiful.
The song is deeply ingrained in my mind and even after the end of the series, I keep listening to this song all the time, so much refreshing music has been used. Moreover, the fact that all the members of Hori's family have adopted Miyamura and taken care of her a lot has also won their hearts.
I highly recommend this innocent love story called Horimiya for everyone. I believe that more or less everyone can match the events of this series with many events of school life.
The series can be watched for free streaming on any anime site including Netflix. I don't think there is any possibility of the second season of this series coming. So you can finish in one sitting. Those who have seen it must know how you like this wonderful series.
