This is god Mars as Ares, Ram, first month of the year, March 1st is his birthday and beginning of the new year in Roman calendar. He came to destroy the old year of his former self.
He represents Cain (as willpower) who kills his younger brother, an aspect of former self, Abel (obedience to the willpower of his parents), thus Mars in this rebel descending aspect is symbolic of teenage rebellion against parents, the Hercules' seven labours, as he by his will creates the hero's journey of seven sins going down and virtues going up.
On his returning way as ascending sign, Mars (fire of consuming chemical separation) god of War falls in love with Venus goddess of love (water of biological connection) and Moon (Minerva as all seeing third eye) goddess of Wisdom who help him transform into thrice great Hermes as Rex Mundi King of the World.
The two horns thus represent the dual and thus thrine nature of Mars, Babylonian god Marduk as Ba'al the owner of one's destiny.
The love child (as Jupetet) then as the rebellious teenager (Mars), the responsible adult (king of will, love and wisdom), and the mature wise king of kings Rex Mundi Hermes Trismegestos (Mercury).
The trick is for Mars to make a journey back from the underworld and ascend with love and wisdom found on the way. To do that he needs to rebel against himself the same way he has rebelled against his parents.
The ethnic parents are that of the ego, the real parents are gods waiting for the soul to come home from its heroes' quest of self willpower.
Thus being transformed from being a tin (fool) head lead (Saturn as Pb Lead) by your parents into Iron (Mars) core of a star, with Copper love over it (Venus), then Silver of wisdom (Moon), with Gold [Au 79] being the rest of the outer body (sun), and Mercury [Hg 80] as its transformed consciousness of love truth and peace.
