My extended family knows I am a big fan of hot sauce so I get gifted bottles for pretty much any holiday or birthday, lol.
I was gifted a new one that I had ever tried before - Fy by Jing’s Sichuan Chili Crisp:
This was a very good and quite unique! It is oil based, but has a combination of peppers and chili flakes a the bottom - once you stir it up, it goes on as a mix of a oil and solids, so that is where the “crisp” part comes from.
I put in on eggs and it was a fantastic combination.
I am not so sure about their recommendation here though:
Vanilla Ice Cream??!! That even sounds wrong to a hot sauce fan like me!
