The house of falsehood: Folly is an unruly woman; she is simple and knows nothing. Proverbs 9:13

What would happen in a country if wisdom and foolishness were personified? This is an original idea presented to us by the Sacred Scriptures. In the new testament, Jesus and Satan represent these personifications, unleashing a spiritual war of cataclysmic proportions.
But in the sapiential books of the old testament these personifications represent other things. The Book of Proverbs presents us in a metaphorical way, to wisdom and foolishness as houses, as families, as places of coexistence and meeting, because ultimately a form of the law of attraction acts, just as a wise man seeks a wise man, a fool seeks another like him.
In an imaginary city, lady wisdom and lady foolishness cry out to their own, they make advertising, come live with me and eat my fruits, these personifications tell to the citizens, and the choice is inevitable. Just as wisdom invites us to a banquet, foolishness and falsehood call us to the abyss where everything is darkness. We have to choose in which house to live, explains the Book of Proverbs, and from this election the consequences. The book of proverbs does not tell us about heaven or hell, but it tells us with the sweetness that is typical of wisdom, without threatening and without inciting fear or guilt, that we are responsible for what we are.
This is how the book of proverbs describes the foolish lady, the metaphorical personification of error and lies:
"Folly is an unruly woman;
she is simple and knows nothing.
She sits at the door of her house,
on a seat at the highest point of the city,
calling out to those who pass by,
who go straight on their way,
´Let all who are simple come to my house!´
To those who have no sense she says,
´Stolen water is sweet;
food eaten in secret is delicious!´
But little do they know that the dead are there,
that her guests are deep in the realm of the dead" Proverbs 9:13-18.
