To begin this post I want to get straight what I mean by poor. First, I am not talking about someone who ain't got money for at least pay for its own food, I am talking about the ones whose money is precisely counted to pay their bills. If at the end of the month you got almost nothing in your account, don't spend your time with fake promises of becoming rich.
I'm a software developer and I can say that I get paid a good amount of money from my job to have a comfortable life, but as a classic greedy man, I'm always looking for ways to get more money. Cryptocurrencies are one of the biggest pitfalls for those who like technology, it is almost a natural path — start mastering the fundamentals of how blockchain works, fall in love with it and put all your money at risk — after all, you have the mind of a rational scientist, you won't be trapped by dark greed.
But that's not true, everyone can be pulled into it, especially if you're trying to make everything go fast, and don't have enough time to wait long months or years to get any results.
And why is that so risky? in a few words, because the ones who get money with crypto are the ones whose money is enough to see the graphs in free fall and be alright since they are not concerned about the bills, instead, their take those opportunities to put more money, because yes, those situations are opportunities to really make money. And if you are "poor", that is an opportunity to lose your mental health and get into some trouble with your family.
Conclusion
Does that mean that you got to wait for wealth to start investing in crypto? Not at all. That means you should always invest the money that you can easily forget; whenever you reach this point, you are free to invest. Just put your money in something you really trust, make your research to see if the asset got some Defi to receive passive incoming by staking the asset and leaving it for months or years.
