According to the October 2019 survey of Crypto Radar, only 6.2% of Americans currently own Bitcoin and only about 7.3% of Americans plan to buy Bitcoin. On the other hand, 64.8% of Americans don't own Bitcoin and have no plans to buy it, while the remaining 21.8% say they have never heard of Bitcoin.
Of course, research on Crypto Radar is dedicated to Bitcoin, but the fact that Bitcoin's market dominance in cryptocurrencies is 67.7% shows the truth about Bitcoin is likely to fall into all other currency.
These are just some of the reasons why cryptocurrency trading and mass market acceptance has not started.
