Investing Tips with Dad - ROI% πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°

Dad: Son, it's about time I tought you about investing your money

Me: Cool, lay it on me!

Dad: First thing is ROI which stands for "Return on Investment." If you invest $10 and end up with $14 afterwards, your ROI is $4.

You could also express it as a percentage by dividing the ending number by the starting number. So, in this scenario, you'd end up with $14 / $10 which will result in 1.4.

1.4 in percentages equates to 140% (just muliply the # by 100).

The 140% means above and beyond what you started with (100%), you now also have am additional 40% on top. This 40%, once again is the ROI, or return on investment.

Me (Feeling like I'm getting it): So, what is a good ROI%?

Dad: If you have an incredible, I mean totally stupendous year in the market, a 3-5% yearly ROI can be attained.

Me: Whaaaa????

Dad: I know, impressed, right?

Me: No, confused. You said 3-5% per year, right?

Dad: Well, yes, son. But those are not guaranteed results. It may not always work out quite that well.

Me: That well????

Me: Dad, do you even $LDOGE in the InvestBox?

The lending interest at the moment is amazing as long as BTC continues to goes up. I'm currently lending interest @ 3 times my credit card fees. To clarify I would never recommend anyone to take out credit card or loans for crypto that would be mental.

Right. Absolutely mental.

Haha! Thanks for the laugh :) Upvote
