I just got hired at hungry jacks (Burger King of Aussies), it is my first job and although I finished my training 100%, I don't know what to do and the manager told me that I would be working at the kitchen for a 4-hour shift. What should I do on my first shift? Should I show off? Should I show that I am a hard-working man or just be myself?

You're a grownup now! Nobody likes a showoff, show them that "myself" is a hard working man. There's always a place in the workforce for people that work hard and are competent... if you want to be a showoff- join a circus!

Be yourself, be friendly, but most of all be polite. I'm really old and retired. You get what you put in... if you're polite, good people will be the same... if they're not, these are the ones to stay away from. You'll be fine! Remember, everybody has a first job. How you do on this will determine how you do on your next one...
