Due to a sad series of events steem is no longer decentralized nor censorship-resistant.
I don't know how it will look like in the future but right now it's more like a personal database than a proper blockchain.

    Ah the trials and tribulations of the traveler... glad you eventually made it home, but too bad you don’t get extra credits for airline issues.

        Try to search companies that join people with the same issue to do a combine ask, join forces to gain money. In Spain we have "reclamador[dot]es".
        Yo can recover, at least, part of the money.
