But this is harmless and will disappear if you clean your tongue in the right way. There is no real hair, but a faint face on your tongue that makes it look like a dark hairy tongue. Most women can get yeast infections there, but you may not know that yeast infection can also occur in your mouth. This is known as oral thrust. Periodontitis is pretty scary. It can cause recurring gums, infections, chronic inflammation and can even cause your teeth to fall out.
