Around mid-January, we announced the HyperVerse refund program in this blog post and on the 20th of January 2023, the refund program officially kicked off.
THE PROGRESS SO FAR
Registrations When the refund program was initially announced in January, due to the skeptical and heavy FUD swirling about the refund program at the time, just a little over 1500 people registered for the refund program on the first day of launch, but after several people has successfully claimed their refunds, news of this started circulating and we are happy to announce that in the 5 months that the refund program has been open, we recently just hit an important milestone of 10,000 registrations.
KYC Submissions & Approvals: Since the refund program was launched 5 months ago, about 8000 members has submitted KYC requests and judging by the current trajectory, we are estimating that this numbers would hit the 10,000 mark within a month.
There has also been a huge rise in the number of KYC requests that are approved by the automated system, around the time of our first newsletter, an average of 40% of the submitted KYC requests were been approved but this number is currently pegged around a 70% approval rate and the major reason why the remaining 30% are rejected/skipped is mainly because of incomplete/inaccurate information provided especially the failure to provide accurate financial information. An average 95% of second time applicants tend to have their verification applications accepted.
30% Verification Deposit: Around the time of our first newsletter, only about 10% of members who has completed the KYC process completed this last step, but we are proud to announce that currently, around 50% of members who has completed the KYC process moves on to this next crucial level and this number has steadily been on the rise, we have especially noticed that members who registered months ago tend to complete this process now.
REFUND STATS
5000+ refund claims disbursed which is around 50% of registered member and 70% of members who has completed the KYC requirements.
At the time of writing, $47,850,000 has been paid out to members who has completed the refund requirements.
