I already mentioned this before. That was because I read an article written by Open Doors Now, again I was confronted by this raw reality through a different article: Christian Lives Matter In Nigeria, But Not To The UN
Tell me why we are so much more concerned about Israel fighting against Hamas terrorists (which is deeply Islamic), than about Nigerians Christians who get slaughtered by Islamic fanatics. Can it be that we feel we need to be sweet and nice about Islam? Do we feel that, because the others are Christians, they are getting what they deserve? After all, the West was mostly build on Jude-Christian values. And everybody knows that Christians are supremacists, right? We are the scum of this world because we are overall successful. The fact that Christianity challenges people to explore and make the best out of our lives doesn't count, so it seems.
Wherever Christianity flourished we have seen the rise of hospitals, schools, agriculture, wonderful architecture, and an overall better society. There where we see Islam becoming dominant, we see the opposite. No offense, but they tear down wonderful buildings, they use money rather for weapons than for hospitals, school are for boys, and the once wonderful society becomes a mess in which people rather hand over a thief the see his or her hand amputated than that they want to be know as the softhearted person.
Christianity knows his failures as well, I know! But it is not as systematic as we see with Islam. Can we please stop pretending being so moral? As long as we condone the killing, raping and torture of thousand of Christians, just because they are not being considered as economically valuable, we are very hypocritical.
