Independent Coin Offerings as an Investment :: Sound or Scam ?
According the the Cryptocurrency, Ai and Blockchain worlds ICO's (Independent Coin Offerings) are the most effective way to generate large funds quickly for projects which are still just an idea.
Traditional Venture Capital funding wants you to have a minimum viable product before even heading into looking for money. This means small investments from family, friends or your 'loyal' Bank.
ICO's have come into play as being the bridge between crowdfunding and venture capital to crowdsource large sums of investment from a larger number of investors but with a minimum input to ensure investors are invested. Many of these projects are merely ideas with very little to substantiate their idea into action but for a few developer friends who've gathered together to begin formulating the plan.
Social Impact as a measure of Quality Investment Opportunity
As the crypto currency world has taken hold with around 3,000 coins on exchanges (place where you can buy any of the crypto's) it's become increasingly difficult for genuine investors and players in the arena to find quality projects that will create a positive impact and generate a decent return.
Differentiating ICO's as Sound Investments
The conundrum now is to find an alternate way to differentiate whether or not the investment is a sound one. Another measure outside of the profit and product, Advisors listed, and the swishness of the website or how many conferences or Telegram users there are in the community.
Big Profit dreams can Disappear in Scam ICOs
Until now the investors have been focused on Big Profit as their main agenda when investing in ICO's. We all want to be the next Whale (Big Crypto holder & ICO Investor) but since there've been quite a few rather nasty scams which have stolen Billions of Dollars worth of investment through the ICO system, investors are being a lot more stealthy in their assessment of ICO's.
Social Impact is the new measure of Sound Investments.
Social Impact isn't how many followers or fans or how large your Telegram community. Social Impact is defined by the effect what you do, create, say has on the planet and, naturally, people. Today and in the future.
Ignorance is no longer an answer
I have recently been infuriated by an irritating human who refuses, after 4 separate conversations, to do his research on the actual value that Cryptocurrency and in turn related technology, has to offer humanity. If nothing else just read what I write about. The ignorance, his and millions of others has been created by a mainstream media news feed created by the powers that hold the golden 'key' - money.
Educate to Inspire and Innovate
Among many areas of interest; economies, humanitarian organisations, governments, systems and protocols have been part of my research into ways to make things better.
My readings led me through what's working and what's not, hasn't and never will.
#Pi - The Fix evolved through this extensive study into recreating everything, just better.

Social Impact responsibility of ICO's - Blockchain, Smart Contract, Ai, Ar, Crypto
The most important factor related to what we do now is how does it fit with nature?
Absurd question to the money hungry, greed fed mongrels waiting to pounce on the next Whale Adventure.
Stop.
Think very carefully about who your customers are. Who will be buying these products/services?
The connectivity and influence of the relative 'small' guy is far larger than it's ever been. Your Social Responsibility will be enforced on you should you not take it into account to begin with.
It's not about law suits anymore.
It's not about power among the few.
It's about individual power creating the wave of customer love or loathing using our influence in connectivity to make the change we want to see.
Billion Dollar marketing budgets, mass campaigns and big promises will only tease the few for a short time.
ICO's are open to the public from the start. Now that we've got smart contracts we can see (or should be able to) precisely what you're doing to ensure you don't damage our planet, food sources or create technology that is against the natural protocols set out by nature herself.
Smart Cities... Clever Clusters... You can't fool us no more.
As we get smarter and more agile, the 99% are creating opportunities for ourselves to circumvent the obstacles the 1% have placed before us in creating an equal society.
Balance.
Balance will begin when we have uplifted into a decent lifestyle, everyone on the planet.
Nature is all about balance. As we are, whether we want to believe it or not, a part of nature, we must take care of that which is responsible for our survival.
Social Impact Technologies are the now and the future. Everything we do must conform to a moral code that ethically bounds you to look within yourself to judge the investment into a dangerous or potentially devastating product.
Power shift from 1% to 99% evolving through active decentralisation
Your judges and juries are the mass population. Many of whom are gathering momentum towards a more conscious footprint on the planet.
Open Source, Open Access, Open Information. Decentralisation also equates to ownership of actions. Beginning with Organisations adopting new technology as the front runners in designing a conscious future. (Showcase This in your marketing, you'll see the magic happen)
"You don't have to be a tree-hugger to see that if money were to implode tomorrow, there's only so much food in the stores and your Ferrari isn't too good for your teeth."
Life on Planet Earth is only guaranteed to the degree of respect we show her. To date, humans have caused almost irreparable damage. It's time to Fix it.
Starting with Technology.
Social Impact in Technology defined by a Moral Code of build, design and implementation
Defining the Social Impact in Technology is to ask questions that amount to more than : How much Money will we Make?
What is the real world benefit of the product or service?
Outside of money.
Yes, I'm aware that CryptoCurrency is and always will be about a means of trade.
Money doesn't have to be it.
Reward is reward. It's the value we place on that reward.
Saving the planet should be a reward.
Helping sick, poor, under-served should be rewarded.
Helping yourself should be rewarded.
Despite it's attempts to be inclusive, the ICO's in their current state are out of reach for the average person. And unless you're hopelessly dedicated to the cause of each coin, it's impossible to stay on top of the Bounties and Airdrop requirements.
Crowdfunding is too often a soft option for folk who can't get traditional funding because their idea isn't viable or it's a charitable donation so no reward is received. Except in the giving.
So how does the average person benefit from what you're doing?

By setting a standard of conscience within the ICO industry we can quickly differentiate the projects that have an opportunity for longevity in the marketplace and those which will struggle.
