Introduction:
Probably everyone of you owns at least a credit card, a debit card and several reward cards. For me, I have quite alot of them and carrying all the cards with me is not only annoying, but also makes my wallet thicker and heavier. There is a solution for this problem now by FuzeX.
What is FuzeX?
FuzeX is a project, which aims revolutionize the way you pay. They are creating an e-card, where you can store all your cards (credit, debit, reward cards) in only one card. And on top of that, they will be also integrating cryptocurrency, so you can pay in real stores by using the FuzeX card. They are currently working on a prototyp and already have some videos on youtube showing how the FuzeX card might look like as well as how it will work. Reasons why I think this project will be successful:
- They have a revolutionary idea
- Their previous project "Fuze Card" was a huge success and raised over 2.4 million USD on indigogo and also over 30.000 Fuze Cards sold and shipped to customers (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fuze-card-your-whole-wallet-in-one-card-money-technology)
- Fast and secure payments with the option to include different cryptocurrencies
- They have a great and experienced team (see below)
- The roadmap looks consistent and their wallpaper is very detailed (see below)
- Big achievements and awards like “Industrial Convergence Leader 2017” Award from the Ministry of Trade, Republic of Korea
- Recognition from Korea Technology Finance Corporation for developing “Smart Multi-eCard 2016” technology
ICO-Stage:
FuzeX is currently in their Pre-ICO (Initial Coin Offering) stage. Their project goal is reach a hardcap of 40.000 Ethereum (around 45 million USD at current exchange rate). Currently they have raised already over 75% of their hardcap which is over 30.000 ETH. Their presale will be open until the 2018.01.15 00:00 ~ 02.15 Midnight GMT. But everything indicates that this project will be sold out before that end date and their won't be anoter ICO after that.
Benefits you get from the ICO is that all investors will get 25% more tokens. Also everyone who spends more than 5 ETH will receive a free FuzeX card delivered to their home adress, once the project will launch. This probably will be in the second quarter of 2018. Since it is the pre-ICO the minimum contribution amount is 5 ETH. In my opinion this is quite a large amount, but smaller investors might be able to get some tokens if either the project won't be sold out in the pre-ICO (then min contribution will be 0.1 ETH) or they will be able to buy some tokens when it will hit the exchanges later.
FXT Tokens:
FXT tokens will be the cryptocurrency of FuzeX. In total their will be 1.600.000.000 FXT. The investment will be used for partnerships and for further development by the team. The token allocation can be seen below:
Roadmap:
Currently we are in Q1 2018. FuzeX is currently doing their ICO as well as establish new partnerships for issuers. Also in the first quarter the prototyp of the FuzeX Card will be finished. Further developments for the upcoming quarters and years you can see in the roadmap below.
The Team:
FuzeX has overall a great team with a very experienced lead team. Their linkedin profiles show that almost all of them has worked for big companies before they joined to build their FuzeX project. FuzeX has over 40 employee including skilled engineers, blockchain specialists, programmers, experienced marketing professionals and business professionals. However for some of their team members there were no profile picture found on linkedin which I wished they will update soon (this is just my personal opinion).
Advisors:
Projects become successful not only through a great team, but also thanks to partnerships and advisors. FuzeX really has great and quite famous advisors like Charlie Shrem.
My opinition:
Overall I really like the idea behind the project of FuzeX. Having one card for all your payments and also adding cryptocurrencies to it is a really revolutionary concept. As their team already has experience with their previous project Fuze Card, I really believe that FuzeX will be a huge success in the upcoming months. Also positive is that their support is really fast responding and helpful. For any questions you get almost 24h support in their telegram group (link below). I personally will defintely invest in this project and I'm already excited to use the FuzeX card in the future. But at the moment investing 5 ETH is a bit over my budget. For their ICO-phase I wish the team all the best!
