As I sift through the various headlines tonight, I am surprised to see so many articles praising Ohio for its latest Blockchain Law. I have read both SB 300 and SB200, and I am disappointed that the passed bill stopped where it did.

If you look at it, the bill has merely given blockchain ledger the legal status of a valid database. It states that "a record or contract that is secured through blockchain technology is considered to be in an electronic form and to be an electronic record." This is nothing to rejoice over.

There was so much more that could have been done. At the very least, something should have been done with the smart contract. As things stand, Smart Contract is not a legally enforceable contract. Invest in LEGAL ICO - https://OiX.li/
