ICO Markets in the first quarter report for token sales achieved impressive growth. Looking back at 2017 we can reach the conclusion that token sales have come a long way. Find below key highlights, Charts and Graphs of what we have deduced from the token sale report for the first quarter of 2018 created by Max Galka at Elementus

Key findings from the Q1 token report

In only the first three months of 2018, token sale fundraising has managed to surpass what was attained throughout 2017. Within this period, an impressive $14.2 billion was realized via token sales which is a significant increase from the $9 billion raised during the entire 2017. This shows a slow but steady growth in the ecosystem. Another point of note regarding the report is the November dip in token sales.
  • In just the first 3 months, 2018 token sale fundraising has already surpassed all of 2017
  • The first quarter of 2018 saw $14.2 billion raised via token sales vs. $9 billion raised in all of 2017
  • After a dip in December, the number of monthly token sales reached a new high in March
  • Token sales are getting bigger - 4 of the 5 largest token fundraising efforts of all time took place last quarter (the EOS ICO has been ongoing since June 2017).
  • Security tokens and SAFT agreements are growing in popularity
  • Total fundraising volume split by country and region, with the USA, Venezuela, Switzerland and Singapore raising the most money through ICOs
