The poem I cry is a free verse poem whereby Tupac employs this tool to express his pain and sadness about how he cries and he is pained about so many things yet no one seems to notice.
He repeats the word"I cry" to place emphasis on the subject of the poem. Tears which is a symbol of an outburst of emotions. Usually when people are hurt and so pained, when words fail in the expression of the feelings of ones pain then the person cries. Everyone else seems so busy with the passing of life or they are also blinded by the tears of their own tears too that no one notices the tears and why.
