This isn't some random person on Twitter anymore. She almost got a completely undeserved tenured position at Chapel Hill ever never having been employed by a university a day in her life. For some reason I lot of people worship her and condemn anybody who attacks her ideas or credibility.
It's amazing that she would make such a comment here.
First of all, what she's calling "nonsensical" is actually quite simple and done every day.
The bigger thing is that her entire worldview is predicated on the ideas of racial equity. If it's nonsensical to control for race and measure racial disparities, it's impossible to measure for racial equity. If it's impossible to measure for equity, her entire worldview is nonsensical. It's like packing the entire country into a car and picking a random road to drive us down with no concept of the destination in the head of the driver. Either that or she's actively trying to further abstract her worldview so she can't be adequately proven wrong -- you can't say that you hit a bullseye when the red dot is the size of a Buick.
