The biggest thing I'd like to see is getting more of your time freed up and making the contest more of a living, breathing, self propelled machine. I almost added in a side note when I put in the idea about "forget the newbies" as I don't think we should forget them entirely but think there would be more bang for the buck in focusing on active Steemit posters.

I did think of some of the very same challenges with peer to peer judging but perhaps something could be built in to decrease these types of instances. Also, maybe there are other communities (say those communities who are focused on curation) who could step in to judge rounds. That would be pretty epic if you had an entire community step in to judge rounds. I seem to do fairly well getting posts curated that I can fit into the "travelfeed" category.
