How to add images to a steemit post?

in imagehosting •  7 years ago

I'm trying to add images to a post but for some reason it is not clear.

The FAQ talks about a Ctrl+V option, that aint working for me somehow.

And the only option i do see has to link to an off site img hosting.

That is not censorship proof in my book, and I don't see the decentralised / crypto nature there

Is there perhaps some kind of Dtube like solution that I havn't figured out yet?

Even easier : you drag & drop your image in your text while editing or you click on "selecting them" and then you browse to your file. It will be automatically uploaded to Steemit (hosted by Steemit servers).

meep

I missed you.

What browser do you use? FF or IE?

Firefox and Chrome.

Hmm Maybe that's it, I'm not using Micro$hift Internet Exploder... Im not on a Windows nor Apple crate.
Does anyone else have this issue?
In my case on this machine runs Ubuntu 16.04 and FireFox 53.0.2 (64-bit)

What ? No, I am not using microsoft neither :) I am using Firefox under Windows and Chrome under Android.
Maybe if you can explain what happens when you drag and drop, I could try to help ?

Hm... Drag and drop doesn't seem to do anything.

Funny, I had this problem just today too. Don't know why. Usually it works. But you can always click on "selecting them" just below the middle rectangle area. This always worked for me.

hmmmmm no luck.. i guess it's me being new here... i will figure it out one day.. :-) i just dont see it yet
